Acceptable use policy
Acceptable use.
This policy sets out what Board Badger may and may not be used for. It sits alongside the Terms of Service rather than replacing them, and a breach of this policy is a breach of those Terms.
Use it for what it is
Board Badger is a task board for a client project, for recording work an account holder is actually doing and showing it to the client who is paying for it.
What must not be done
- Put anything on a board that breaks the law or infringes somebody's rights.
- Invite somebody without a lawful basis for holding their name and email address, or keep inviting somebody who has asked not to be.
- Use a board to harass, mislead or shame a named person.
- Upload malicious content, or anything the account holder has no right to store.
- Attempt to reach another account's board, another person's membership, or the infrastructure the service runs on.
- Probe, scan, overload or disrupt the service, or work around a rate limit.
- Reach the service by automated means other than the interfaces provided, which are the web application and the MCP server.
- Resell Board Badger, or put it behind another brand, without the Operator's written permission.
Agents and automated clients
An MCP client acting on an account holder's behalf is that account holder, as far as this policy is concerned. The account holder is responsible for what a connected agent does with their boards, including what it writes on a board a client can read, and connecting one loosens no rule above.
People invited to a board
Somebody given a link to a board is bound by this policy on that board. They must not pass the link on, and must not attempt to reach any board other than the one shared with them.
What happens if this is broken
The Operator may investigate suspected breaches and act on them, including removing content, suspending an account, or closing it. Where a breach is serious or ongoing the Operator may act first and give notice afterwards. Otherwise notice is given first, with an opportunity to put it right.
Reporting a problem
Suspected misuse of Board Badger should be reported to hello@boardbadger.com.
